I pledge to take care of my body
Clearwater Middle School had a grand official launching of the Live Healthy Kids Bermuda on February 6, 2009.
Students had a week long activity of measuring and designing a formation in Physical Education classes:
Spelling out “L I V E” on our field and surrounded by a big Heart shape.
(1)The students and teachers set in the formation of over 217 hula hoops (Green, Blue, Yellow and Red hula hoops).
The heart shape was all red hula hoops.
(2) Then everyone repeated the pledge.
Pledge: I pledge to take care of my body:
To put healthy things in,
To keep harmful things out,
I understand that if I exercise it, feed, and give it water and rest,
My body will stay healthy, keep fit and remain strong.
I PLEDGE TO DO AT LEAST 5 HOURS OF EXERCISE PER WEEK FOR THE 90 DAY CHALLENGE,
AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, SO THAT I MAY ENJOY HEALTH AND HAPPINESS!
To this I pledge.
